Henry Brill is a Director at Breakwater Strategy, where his portfolio focuses on emerging technology and financial services. At Breakwater, he designs strategic communications campaigns for high-profile startups and Fortune 500s navigating complex business and policy challenges. Combining deep experience in media engagement with a broad, multidisciplinary approach, Henry advises clients across the firm on U.S. public policy communications, corporate reputation, and rapid-response issues management.
Prior to joining Breakwater, Henry worked in communications at the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs at Georgetown University, where he led a publication cited in the New York Times and collaborated with prominent policymakers and scholars on issues of global concern. His international perspective was further shaped by studying Turkish in Azerbaijan through a Critical Language Scholarship, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Henry graduated summa cum laude from Kenyon College and authored an award-winning honors thesis on early modern Islamic history, later published by Columbia University Press.
